Martin Laiapea

Martin Laiapea (born February 1, 1974) is an Estonian artist who has been actively involved in the Tartu art scene. He has participated in both solo and group exhibitions, including the Tartu Kunstimaja Annual Exhibitions. In 2021, he held his solo exhibition “Martään. Sukelduja” at the Promenaadiviis gallery.


Laiapea has taken part in several group exhibitions, such as “Köielkõndija” (2020–2021) and “Elukeskmed” (2021–2022) at Tartu Kunstimaja, as well as “Promenäär 2024” at Promenaadiviis gallery.


In addition, he has been closely associated with the Tartu Annual Art Exhibitions, where he has showcased his work alongside other renowned artists.


His creative output spans various art forms and techniques, reflecting the trends of contemporary art in Estonia.
