Lev Vassiljev

Lev Vassiljev (born 1929 in Tula) is a painter and graphic artist. He has graduated from the Estonian State Institute of Art as a sculptor (1956), however, in 1950s-1960s he was mainly active as a book illustrator and desginer, working mostly for Moscow publishing houses. Since 1974, Vassiljev is a freelance artist. He is a member of Estonian Artists´ Association since 1956.
