Lemme Haldre (born March 14, 1955) is an esteemed Estonian psychologist, family therapist, and artist, widely recognized for her contributions to the well-being of children and families, as well as her impactful work in the arts. In 2020, she received a Lifetime Achievement Award for her dedication to advancing family therapy and child welfare.
Haldre graduated from the University of Tartu with a degree in psychology and holds a master’s degree in family therapy and a doctorate in medicine. Her academic and practical work has focused on child and adolescent sexual education, violence prevention, and strengthening family relationships. She is the co-author of several books and scientific studies, sharing her insights with professionals and the broader community.
Lemme Haldre is also active in the field of art. Her work explores deeply personal and socially significant themes, combining aesthetic exploration with psychological depth. Her creations reflect interpersonal relationships, emotional layers, and expressions of the inner human world.
Lemme Haldre studied at the Konrad Mägi Studio and privately under Silvia Jõgever. She has held 17 solo exhibitions and has also participated in numerous group exhibitions at the Tartu Art House and the Pärnu Museum of New Art. Her solo exhibitions have been showcased in Tartu, Pärnu, Tallinn, Võru, and Jõhvi.
