Laivi Suurväli, working under the artist pseudonym Laivi, has obtained a bachelor’s degree in fashion design from Estonian Academy of Arts and a master’s degree from Aalto University in Finland. She experiments with materials and textiles in her artistic practice which also extends to sculptural installations and large-scale artworks.
