Kristi Vendelin (1995) is a visual artist based in Tartu, Estonia. She holds a BA from the painting department of Pallas University of Applied Sciences and Contemporary art MA from Estonian Academy of Arts. She has complemented her studies in a contemporary painting studio in Brno, Czech Republic. Experience in painting conservation and restoration field has influenced her technical use of materials and introduced repetitive patterns to her practice. The main topics that interest her are related to moments of disconnection and movements that result from disruptions. As an outcome of an intuitive and playful process, she explores personal experiences through visual tropes.
