Ivika Luisk

Artist's country of origin: Estonia

Ivika Luisk (born 1969) is a painter and puppet film artist who lives and works in Tallinn. She graduated from the Estonian Academy of Arts in the field of painting and monumental painting with a BA degree in 1995 and with a Master´s degree in 1998. She is a member of the Estonian Artists´ Association and Estonian Painters Union. Luisk has had 15 personal exhibition so far, she has also taken part in a number of group shows and worked as an artist in 15 puppet films. In her works, human beings and nature play a central role, the artist is interested in their relationship and mutual impact.
