Hanna Vinter Emerging artist
Artist is based in: Estonia
Hanna Vinter (b. 2003, Kuressaare, Estonia) is an contemporary artist whose practice deals with existential issues, driven by personal traumatic experiences from childhood and adolescence. The deaths of close ones and near-death experiences from her early life have been the foundation of her artistic position, which influences how Vinter perceives the world, people and her own spiritual presence. The persuasive need to have a liveable and bearable existence have led the artist to include spiritual dissatisfaction and the feeling of homelessness in her practice. Vinter’s personal necessity to find alternative explanations of the world have led her to find many irrational points of interest. Although all of them come from different cultural spaces, they gather their ideological cores around the human desire to understand life and eternity.
