Hanna-Liisa Lavonen (born 1994) is a young painter, who is currently living and working in Tallin. She has studied in the Estonian Academy of Arts with the specialization in painting.
In her body of work the artist likes to use unusual and handy material in keeping with the tradition of painting. The works themselves don´t have a specific stylistic feature but they are linked by color. Some of the objekts aren´t always recognizable by form thus the meaning gets an ambiguous twist.
Hanna-Liisa tries to keep painting as fresh, stylish and vigorous as is fashion, cinema, music and the performing arts.
