Gea Sibola-Hansen

Sibola Gea Hansen (born in Tapa 1962) is a sculptor who actively participates in the international art scene.
After graduating Estonian Academy of Arts in 1995, she moved to Sweden. The artist’s works have been sold in Sweden large Bukowski art auction. Gea has participated in Nordic contemporary art fair in Du Louvre Paris, European sculpture parks, several exhibitions, symposia and workshops. Her works are in the collections of private collectors. From national orders can be highlighted huge monumental painting for Stockholm School and the year award for Sweden chess club. AS a sculptor, she has done major restoration works for Swedish and Danish castles and other objects of protection. Moving back to Estonia, one of the remarkable work is black granite bas-relief from Flag stories for gate poles in Otepää (2014). The sculptor’s favorite materials include bronze, wood, concrete and stone.
Gea is a member of Estonian and Sweden Artists and also Sculptors ‘Association and from 2015 onwards the Estonian Sculptors’ Association Chairwoman.
