Eve Valper

Artist's country of origin: Estonia

Eve Valper (born September 29, 1969, in Võru) is a freelance artist and art teacher based in Tartu, Estonia. She graduated from the painting department of the University of Tartu in 1998 and has been actively engaged in various art projects since 1994. Between 2006 and 2018, Valper worked as the artist-designer for the University of Tartu Library, and from 2018 to 2020, she served as the in-house artist for Ugala Theatre in Viljandi.


Valper has participated in numerous exhibitions, including solo shows. Notably, her 2022 solo exhibition “Näeb värvi” (Sees Color) was held at Elva Cultural Center.


As an artist, Valper primarily focuses on painting but also explores her interests in music and dance. She has a deep appreciation for calligraphy and the beauty of the Estonian language.


In addition to her artistic endeavors, Valper is dedicated to teaching art, sharing her skills and knowledge with both children and adults.
