Emilė Krutulytė is from Vilnius, Lithuania. Finished her studies at the Graphic Art department of Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts. Her work recently has been focusing on urban environments and constant surveillance. Also touching on the subjects of data-doubles, modern panopticons and what (sub-)conscious experiences these phenomena provoke. Although her artistic practice usually consists of ready-made or video installations, she is also locally known for her curatorial work.
