Eglė Valentinavičienė
Artist's country of origin: Lithuania
Eglė Valentinavičienė is a ceramic artist based in Vilnius, Lithuania. She studied Graphic Design at Vilnius College of Technologies and Design and Ceramics at Vilnius Academy of Arts.
She has had the privilege of participating in the international small form ceramics group exhibition “Cup” twice and has organized two personal exhibitions: “Dewy Meadow” at Antašava Library in the Kupiškis District in 2020 and “Blocks” at Vilnius Academy of Arts outdoor expo in 2022.
As a representative of ceramic art, she is deeply interested in exploring the connection between three-dimensional form and flat image. Her work often incorporates drawings or photos as additional mediums to convey emotions and create a deeper interactive connection with the audience. While the themes she chooses are serious, she is not afraid to infuse her work with elements of irony or humor.
