Brendan Moran is a New Zealand artist living in Helsinki. He received a Graduate Diploma in Pedagogy from the University of Auckland (2013) and a BFA from Whitecliffe College of Arts and Design (2012). Currently his practice looks to the architecture of painting. This involves a notion of taking things apart and attempting to put them back together as a way of examining the roles of its structure and support via its subversion of the image through painting conventions.
