Anna Kõuhkna

Artist's country of origin: Estonia

Anna Kõuhkna (born 1994) is a freelance painter. She has graduated from Estonian Art Academy and Tallinn University join curriculum in Art Education MA (2022) and Baltic Film and Media school Art department BA (2017) and studied in Tartu Higher Art College (Pallas; 2015). In her paintings there is a special place for nature and the woman, which embodies both the author itself and also an universal identity. The artist has drawn parallels with her paintings by keeping a visual diary and using symbols for it. Latest exhibitions include a joint exhibition “The Fifth Element” in Vaal Gallery (with artists Sandra Sirp, Anu Muiste and Helen Sirp; 2023), “Dear Shadow, Dear Light” in Jakobi Gallery (2023) and a photo exhibition “Faithful to the flow” in Gallery Positiiv (2021). Anna Kõuhkna is a member of the Estonian Painters Association from 2019.
