Aida Ismailova ^{Emerging artist}

Aida Ismailova is a filmmaker, animator and artist from Latvia. From early age she showed great interest in art and filmmaking. From 2008 to 2012 she studied at Janis Rozentals Riga Art High school. From 2013 to 2017 she continued to pursue her creative career professionally by attending Visual Communication department in Art Academy of Latvia. From 2019 to 2021 she studied at Motion. Image. Sound department in Art Academy of Latvia for a master’s degree. Her graduation work Into the Unknown (abstract series of photographs and an experimental short film) has been selected for 17th Athens Digital Arts Festival. Aida enjoys writing screenplays, stories and taking photographs.
