Overview Ahti Sepsivart (born in Tallinn in 1990) is a versatile artist and architect whose work bridges a minimalist, meditative visual language with a profound architectural dimension. He graduated from the Estonian Academy of Arts with a degree in Architecture and Urban Planning and furthered his studies at Aalto University in Finland. As an architect, he has collaborated with various firms, developing both technical and conceptual skills that form a harmonious synergy with his artistic practice.

Sepsivart’s pieces do not carry traditional narratives or concrete imagery. Instead, they create a space for the viewer where time and presence intertwine as quiet yet profound states of mind and perspectives. The focus lies on light, the tension of the horizon, and the contrasting balance between space and openness. His artistic expression is meditative and clear, emphasizing internal state and experience over technical process. Sepsivart invites viewers to interpret and feel for themselves, using his works to build a dialogue with the surrounding space.

Ahti’s work has been showcased in numerous Estonian galleries and art environments, and he has participated in various art projects since 2010. In 2026, Sepsivart took part in the Estonian contemporary art review exhibition “Spring Exhibition 2026” at the Draakon Gallery and held his solo exhibition “Blue Desert” at the Nõmme Cultural Centre.
