Ghosts

In the exhibition «Ghosts», Bjørn Båsen presents a series of sculptural paintings. The works are designed as a painting cabinet with doors that can be opened by the public. All the surfaces of the cabinet are painted with motifs which, together with the spectator's interaction, form a theatrical experience of the painting medium, where the motifs in the work's different layers create a narrative.
