Jolanta Geste (b. 2000) is a Latvian visual artist specializing in painting. She studied at the PIKC Liepāja Secondary School of Music, Art and Design (2016–2020) and is completing her Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts at the Art Academy of Latvia (2020–2025).
Geste has participated in a range of group exhibitions both in Latvia and abroad. Highlights include Now, with Your Permission (Gallery Istaba, Riga, 2024), Horizon of the Line (Galeria Drugie Piętro, Krakow, 2024; Latvian Academy of Arts, Riga, 2025), and Istabai 20 (Gallery Istaba, Riga, and Sabile Art, Culture and Tourism Centre, 2025). In 2025 she also presented her graduation work at the diploma exhibition I Am Art at the Art Academy of Latvia.
Her work reflects a strong engagement with painting as a medium of exploration, dialogue, and expression, continuously evolving through collaborative projects and collective exhibitions.
