Alexandra Shadrina

Born in 1985 in Southern Kazakhstan, Alexandra Shadrina is a multidisciplinary artist and filmmaker. She studied painting at the Moscow State Academy College of Arts named after 1905, Animation at School Shar, and furthered her education at the Baltic Film and Media School in Tallinn, Estonia.
Alexandra Shadrina’s career spans multiple disciplines, including animation film direction, illustration, painting, and graphic arts. She regularly conducts workshops and courses for both children and professional artists, sharing her expertise and passion for visual storytelling.
Her artistic journey includes participation in numerous solo and group exhibitions, reflecting her diverse artistic talents. In 2024, Alexandra Shadrina established the “Petit Scandale” gallery in Tallinn, a space dedicated to showcasing creative projects and fostering artistic dialogue.
Filmmaking has become a central passion for Alexandra etit Scandale, allowing her to seamlessly merge her skills in animation, painting, and graphic arts into cohesive art projects. Her films have been selected for numerous international film festivals, earning widespread recognition and acclaim. Notably, her animation film “Coast Warning” and short feature “Shtander, Shtander, Katya!” have collectively won more than 10 awards.
Alexandra Shadrina continues to push creative boundaries, exploring innovative ways to express her vision across multiple mediums.
