Evelina Bernatonytė (b. 2000) is an artist of the new generation, who studied photography and media arts at the Vilnius Academy of Arts in 2019 – 2023. In 2022, completed an Erasmus+ internship at ArtEZ University, All Space & Sculpture program (Netherlands). E. Bernatonytė’s work is a speculative game of posthumanist discourses and social problems. By combining the traditions of the past, myths and behavioral patterns encountered in people’s everyday life, the artist creates alternative approaches to the perception of modernity. The main tools used in her work are sculpture, installation and video art. Selected exhibitions: Mediaramos.
