Rokas Janušonis is a Lithuanian artist specializing in ceramics, known for his conceptual and stylistic explorations of the medium. He combines ceramics and painting to create unique narratives and shapes, often using ready-made ceramic objects like Soviet-era drainage pipes, pots and other found materials.

Education and achievements: Janušonis graduated with a bachelor’s degree in ceramics in 2021 and a master’s degree in 2023 from Vilnius Academy of Arts. His work won the Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis Scholarship for Young Artists in 2022 for its conceptual depth and modern interpretation of classical Lithuanian culture. His installation “Absurd Showcase” won the audience prize at the “JCDecaux Award 2022: Waves of Opportunity”.
