My graduation project “Masterclass” was rated 10+ with distinction and commendation for: “The original artistic idea and the form of the artwork. The piece is intriguing with its improvised field of creation and the aspect of collaboration, involving a group of performers and using them as material for the artwork. The artist skillfully, effortlessly, and dynamically combines multiple languages, creating a memorable experience.” “During the defense, Emilija presented an impressive and performative piece that could already function in various contexts of contemporary art and experimental contemporary music. Emilija’s work is engaging, dynamic, and well-executed, leaving no doubts about her professionalism as an artist. The intriguing choice of themes, the courage to experiment, smooth collaboration with creators from other fields, organic connections with the artist’s previous experiences, and attention to current world issues are all gratifying aspects. Emilija’s work not only evokes an impact but also generates various associations and insights in the viewer, which is a characteristic of a strong artwork.”
