A teenager stands at the threshold of the adult world, where play can turn into destruction, and the bond between child and society is pulled taut. The work reflects that fragile, unsettling in-between, a moment suspended between innocence and consequence. Silence doesn’t comfort; it deepens the question: Who taught and what was taught? This piece is a quiet confrontation with the weight of influence and the tension of growing up in a world where boundaries blur and nothing feels entirely safe anymore. This work was exhibited at the Estonian Academy of Arts graduation show “Tase”.
