“Swan II” is different from “Swan I” in both the execution and idea behind it. “Swan II” is a warning to get away, to not allow anybody to take advantage of you or your body. It’s biting the hand that used to pleasure it’s needs for gratification. The fight back correlates to the mention of sexual harassment in my thesis, I was seven, but I could only process it at the age of seventeen. It’s most clear statement is rebellion, the need to fight back against your abuser.
