REFLECTION OF THOUGHTS, 2024
glass The work of art consists of 12 fused glass hands placed on dark glass base, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the interaction of emotion and reflection. Through the glass material, the author explores the complexity of human emotions, burnout and the language of hand gestures. From the subtle curve of the palm to the tension of the fingers, these sculptures speak without saying a word. Each hand serves as a symbol for a variety of emotions that we experience throughout our lives. Inspired by sign language, each hand conveys a silent narrative to the viewer. The reflection in the mirror adds another layer of depth to the work, allowing you to see your own reflection intertwined with hands, perhaps reflecting on your own emotional journey. “Reflection of thoughts” serves as a reminder of the fragility of the human soul and invites viewers to stop, reflect and engage in the complex interplay of glass and emotion, offering a space for self-reflection and communication in the chaos of everyday life.
