“Mushroom pickers in the mycelium mowing” reminiscent variation of a biblical story, the removal of Jesus Christ from the cross, but the title suggests that a different process is portrayed. The visual connection to the biblical plot is intentional, as part of the thesis theory, that hallucinogenic mushrooms and other psychoactive plants took an important role in the formation of religion.
