Life Springeth, 2025
Acrylics, markers, canvas
This painting was born out of a simple yet powerful inspiration: the sight of a plant bathed in sunlight. Its green vitality, the way it radiated life, and how it seemed to thrive effortlessly under the warmth of summer days moved me deeply. I felt the urge to capture that sensation—not just the image of the plant itself, but the unstoppable energy of life it embodied. For me, this work is about renewal and resilience. It speaks of how new life always finds a way to spring forth, no matter the circumstances. There is a quiet persistence in nature that cannot be resisted: from the smallest seed to the brightest blossom, life insists on unfolding. Through layers of greens and yellows, I wanted to translate that vitality onto canvas. It is not a direct representation of flowers or leaves, but rather an immersion in the pulse of growth itself. It is about feeling life’s flourishing energy, as if the work itself has begun to bloom.
