This painting was born out of a longing for life – from an impulse to move forward, to create, and to never give up. The neon light of colors here becomes not only an aesthetic choice, but also a manifesto of vitality. The inspiration came from the forsythia – a shrub that every spring is the first to blaze in yellow, announcing a new beginning. For me, this plant has always been a sign of hope: passing or driving by a forsythia, I would watch how it stood out brightly from all the other tones of color, and I often imagined this motif in my art. And now, I have finally painted it! In this work, form and color merge into an emotion – of vitality, persistence, and light that calls us to live. The forsythia becomes a symbol – of renewal, an outburst of energy, and the courage to be bright even when the surroundings are gray, dark, or gloomy. For me, this piece is a reminder of courage, faith, and the energy we need every day. And although it is not spring now, but autumn, I believe the longing for bright colors will be no less powerful as the darker days approach.
