The work is made from mass-produced objects that once belonged to someone else and have been gathered from various sources through online exchange and resale platforms. The piece invites viewers to consider what the selected objects reveal about the passage of time and the kinds of personal emotions attached to them. The Swedish-made dollhouses reflect a Nordic ideal of middle-class, secure family life, while the postcards point to the human need for communication. The installation highlights feelings of fragility and instability that lie hidden within seemingly stable and harmonious social environments.
