The series “In Conversation with…” is my exploration of the birth of an artwork and the essence of painting. These pieces reflects my internal dialogue with myself, my creative process, and the world around me. I question why to paint, what to paint, and how to paint, seeking answers in philosophy, the everyday environment, and the works of other artists. This dialogue is essential to the painting, showing how daily observations, intuitions, and experiences transform into an aesthetic experience. In my paintings, lines, colors, and forms create a visual dialogue between the visible and invisible, reality and its interpretations. Lines guide the viewer’s eye, creating rhythm and structure. The interplay of colors and shapes offers simplicity and can also form complex structures, with each line contributing to the overall composition’s subtlety and complexity. “In Conversation with…” reveals how I abstract the visible world into simple forms and symbols that convey deeper essence and emotional impact. I explore modernist painting principles from movements like Bauhaus, Cubism, and Abstract Expressionism, which emphasize form and aesthetics over direct reality copying. In creating these paintings, I seek a balance between form and content, the recognizable and the abstract. My goal is to create an aesthetic impression that affects the viewer deeply, freeing the depicted object from traditional representation. This is not just a formal play with shapes and colors but also a subtle creation of artistic language through intuitive imagery.
