“I don’t exactly remember where the idea came from. I kept thinking about big changes in life and how the outcome of lives are drastically changed by those who we meet in our lives – for better or worse. In this piece I wanted to focus on changes towards better and voice my gratitude towards big and small meetings in my life which have had a huge impact on how my life has turned out. The collection of portraits becomes one big installation which becomes a self-portrait of the artist himself. Everyone is the sum of the people who they have met. The work has been part of Nytt 2024 -exhibition.”
