A film character hears a song they love and suddenly a spontaneous dance-scene erupts. On a roadtrip, songs are sung out loud together. Everything feels fluid and everyone seems self-confident. Everybody is having fun. But what if the character (me) is musically ungifted? Is it possible to let go of self-consciousness? Just go with the flow? How it makes me feel? How about you? — This installation is one part out of the three works on the same topic. I took some clay in my hand and began sketching some dance moves with it while listening to music. I felt that my lack of skills in ceramics caused me similar feelings of insecurity, somehow comparable to dancing or singing. So I went with a method that was more familiar to me; I photographed the sculptures, modeled them and finally 3D-printed them. We must climb over what silences the unskilled: shame.
