Spring has come — a time of change, renewal and new beginnings. Outside the window, birds return, trees fill with buds and flowers bloom. Inside, a woman sits alone in absolute silence and acceptance, leisurely eating a simple breakfast of bread, cheese, sausage and strong coffee with sugar. Her thoughts wander through her life and the events she cannot control — things happening beyond the peaceful room, on the other side of screens. She is melancholic, as a new stage of life has arrived. The traces of time and difficult experiences have changed her, but she accepts them as naturally as the changing seasons. With freshly painted lips, she waits quietly for a guest — her new stage of life. A Leisurely Spring Breakfast explores changing life priorities, the role of women in the modern family, absurd expectations, and the uneasy coexistence of change, acceptance, regret and disappointment.
