The Nordic and Baltic Young Artist Award is a unique international competition, launched in 2016 by the Nordic Baltic Art Center NOBA in collaboration with regional art academies and universities. It aims to support and promote emerging artistic talent across the region. The competition showcases works by BA and MA graduates from some of the region’s leading art academies, including the Estonian Academy of Arts, Pallas University of Applied Sciences, Art Academy of Latvia, Vilnius Academy of Arts, Uniarts Helsinki, Turku University of Applied Sciences, and for the first time, Konstfack, Sweden’s largest university for arts, crafts, and design.
The competition not only highlights graduation exhibitions but also helps bring international visibility to young artists as they transition into their professional careers.

Art lovers have the chance to explore a wide range of works by talented young artists from the Baltic Sea region. Many of the competition pieces are available for purchase on the NOBA platform, offering a chance to invest in the future of these emerging artists while supporting their creative journeys.
