Estonian Photographic Art Fair is the first and only contemporary art fair in Estonia and is held for the seventh time this year. The fair aims to introduce recent works of contemporary estonian photographic artists and to offer information on strategies of collecting contemporary art.
Estonian Photographic Art Fair is organised by the Estonian Union of Photography Artists (Foku) and in collaboration with The Estonian Contemporary Art Development Center. Among local artists the fair also exhibits the works by seven foreign artists from Germany, Finland, Russia, France, Latvia and Lithuania. Estonia’s strongest commercial galleries also contribute to the fair for the second year.
The fair is accompanied by a programme of guided tours, artist talks, lectures and workshops. The fair also includes a book exhibition, which focuses on Swedish photographic art.
A selection of the works chosen to the Estonian Photographic Art Fair 2016 is also available online at the NOAR.eu platform for contemporary art (see HERE).
