I am interested again and again in the past, gentlemen's culture and historical places. In the painting process, I use subjects from photos from residency trips, which I combine with the moods, images and spaces experienced there. The subject world of ceramics is animals, which are also in paintings. Some of the paintings in the exhibition were made in the Salzburg residency in the summer of 2022.

Rosa Helin graduated as a visual artist from the Turku Academy of Arts in 2019. Her works have been exhibited e.g. At Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova, Gumbostrand Konst & Form, Aura Gallery, Turku Taidehall, RAW Rome Art Week and Salzburg. In 2021, he was the Nordic Carlsberg Foundation’s Portrait Now! portrait award finalist at the Danish Museum of National History.
