The fox is a symbol of smartness. Cards are a symbol of a game of chance. The work conveys the message that life is a game that must be played wisely no matter what cards are dealt. There are no winners or losers in this game, it’s just that every player’s time runs out at some point. A quiet wall clock mechanism is mounted on the canvas, which works with one AA battery, the slot is on the back of the painting. A wire is attached to the canvas for easy hanging of the work.
