monotype and laser print mounted on paper
This piece is made by monotype mounted on top of a laser copy print, in the process i also used bubble wrap to make this kind of comb or pixel like structure on the surface. main focus in this work was to find this strange copper/pale violet/brown pink color, by mixing printing inks and making test prints. Also i wanted to experiment with layers and translucent surfaces by adding two different prints on top of each other. Creating this kind of membrane like print was something that i wanted to study for a long time and i also wanted to “break the rules of printmaking” by tearing, adding holes and making noise to the image.
