hand made paper, plants fragments

‘plants’ is a gesture to preserve biological diversity into the deep future. the project researches plants’ response to climate change, plants’ life, humans’ relationships to plants, and the collecting of knowledge, for example in libraries and botanical gardens. the written part of this thesis is being written by hand in the old library. plant fragments are safe within boxes, which are textured like white lichen and round like planets. the audience is welcome to observe them closely with the 10xloupe.
