The artist´s comment on the artwork:
“This work is about discovering unobserved details, corners, objects and places in a quiet and secluded part of EKA Lembitu Street building. The staircase allows you to move between the floors unseen by others, and temporarily escape from the otherwise characterless building. This extraneous, empty, and mostly deserted staircase is full in it’s emptiness. Full of details unnoticed at the first glance. To me, the pipes on the wall and dust on the windowsills have attributed an aesthetic value. Seeing something in nothing is what makes me reach for the camera not only here but everywhere. With this work, I’m
showing this space as seen through my eyes.”
