The artist´s comment on the artwork:
“This installation is a self-portrait. I paint the room with my life experiences, creating a nest. I’ve been gathering little pieces from all over to add to my installation – creating a history, a memory with each piece I add. I open curtains to a window to my soul, waiting to see what each pair of eyes take with them. I am present in the nest, I’m part of the nest, myself, the fire that lights it. It has become my home, as everyone visiting becomes friends and family… You are a part of the installation as much as myself, the tea, and the soft wind chime sounds.”
