Land before mirage, 2022
Oil acrylic on canvas
That, which was yesterday, isn’t there today. To be in the present means to sense and see the continuous transformation of items, thoughts and energies, it doesn’t have an end or a beginning. Feelings and images that were experienced both awake and in dream state, have transformed to abstract shapes or recognizable objects in the exhibition “Land before mirage”, travelling from one work of art to another. A dream repeating for years – the place is similar but the mood is different. A landscape, where you can fly or move very fast. Often prophesizing shapes appear in the sky from some kind of weird substance, extraordinary feeling. It has anxiety, fear, waiting – like a miracle. The main task is to see far in the landscape and to figure, where is light, where you must hurry, to stay in the light. Often the brightness fades or changes. I see a city wall, when coming closer, the brightness intensifies. I enter a space which has a lot of light in it. I am in air, I look down to a building. It is a moving and rotating masterpiece made from small details, I regret that I couldn’t make this construction myself while awake, I try to remember, how it works. A feeling of wholeness and satisfaction. I am in the light, where there is no danger, that it ever disappears.
