The project titled “Investigation” presents three photographs captured in 2014, sized 100×65 cm, of drips and spatters on a wall in the city of Vilnius, Lithuania and trace/evidence material attachment.
Investigation shows how the image can become evidence of an event and create a paradoxical perception of the image as documentary and subjective at the same time. Photographs embody real traces of events, objects and memories, but they also serve as platforms for imagining these events, objects and memories in more interpretative form.
