The title of my MFA work ”I saw a cloud that was shaped a bit like you” refers to the drifting nature of the painting process. Vague ideas, hazy figure-like forms, and brush strokes passing by. I always find it fascinating that there is no certain moment where a painting is ready. It could be continued endlessly or let go of after just one or few strokes.
