“I wander around, lose myself in my thoughts. I am idle. I repeat just for the sake of repeating until my teeth get stained by coffee and my thoughts fade like traces on the beach. Seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years, decades. Material carries a memory of something that has been. When the performance is not in progress, shadows are reflected on the canvas, leaving it unclear to the viewer whether there are people behind the canvas or not.”
