Creative Photo Series "Fear as a Muse", 2024
Tasafilm, pinhole kaamera. 1/5
Cover photo “Introspection”
The theme of this work is the fear of loss and its expression through pinhole photography. Loss fear is defined as the feeling associated with the potential loss or disappearance of a loved one. The work is a self-reflective and creative photo series depicting my own fear of losing someone important and dear to me. The idea for the work arose from my personal experience of dealing with anxiety and the fear of loss. Photography has been an important means of self-expression for me, allowing me to shape and present my emotions through visual language. I chose pinhole photography because I was seeking a natural and technically minimalist approach that would enable me to depict emotions and thoughts with very few tools. The goal of the work is to explore the possibilities of pinhole photography in expressing emotions and thoughts, and to engage in a dialogue with the viewer about the complexity of the human inner world. The photo series has been created through self-reflective feelings that describe my emotions in visual terms. The work is honest and open with the viewer, offering an opportunity to delve into the depths of emotions and experiences. The photo series was created as part of my thesis project.
