This particular work shows us fragility of memory, faces of loved ones tend to vanish from memory, blend with something else and transform. The work serie focuses on memories triggered by sensory stimuli. This is a classic case of the the so-called “Proust phenomenon”, in which external factors affecting the senses activate involuntary memories connecting us to our past, forgotten selves and which allow us to better understand the causal relationships and choices that have brought us to where we are today.
