Time, desire and light are intertwined in this work. The apple of eternal youth is not a promise or a catch, but a question – what does it mean to remain when everything else flows? The melting clock and the weeping hourglass displace the usual sense of time, making the moment stretch and uncertain. The apple, lemon and orange form a balance between sweet, sour and ripe – the taste of life, not its suspension. The human hand does not grasp the fruit, but holds it carefully, as if weighing the choice between youth and awareness. The work does not seek an answer to eternal youth, but points to its fragility: youth is not duration, but a state that is born at the meeting of light, time and attention.
