Tõnis Paberit

Tõnis Paberit is a graduate of the Estonian State Art Institute with a specialisation in sculpture. He has worked as a lecturer in the Department of Arts at the University of Tartu, the Konrad Mägi painting studio and the Tartu Art School, currently holding the position of an associate professor at the Higher Art School Pallas. His artistic endeavours encompass psychological portraiture, conceptual installation, monumental art and retrospection. For the last decade, Paberit has been exploring the use of peat and soil in sculpture.
