Silver Vahtre

Silver Vahtre (born 19533 in Tartu) is a printmaker, designer and scenographer. He graduated from the Estonian State Art Institute as a designer in 1977 and has thereafter held various positions, including that of the city artist of Tartu (1991-94). Vahtre has exhibited his works in ca 30 personal and group exhibitions in Estonia and Finland. He is a member of the Estonian Artists´ Association, Association of Estonian Scenographers, Estonian Graphic Designers Association and Tartu Artists´ Association.
